Bisexual Science HomeThis is a featured page

According to Robyn Ochs: “A bisexual person has the potential to be sexually and/or romantically attracted to more than one sex, but not necessarily at the same time or to the same extent,”

Alfred Kinsley even designed a scale to describe the level of bisexuality in a person.

The Kinsey scale attempts to describe a person’s sexual history or episodes of their sexual activity at a given time. It uses a scale from 0, meaning exclusively heterosexual, to 6, meaning exclusively homosexual.

Introducing the scale, Kinsey wrote:

“Human beings are not represented in two discrete populations, heterosexual and homosexual. The world is not to be divided into sheep and goats. It is a fundamental of taxonomy that nature rarely deals with discrete categories…

The living world is a continuum in each and every one of its aspects.

I believe seeing sexuality as a continuum is the best way to understand my hypothesis that ALL WOMEN ARE BISEXUAL!

Kinsey continued: “While emphasizing the continuity of the gradations between exclusively heterosexual and exclusively homosexual histories, we can develop some sort of classification which could be based on the relative amounts of heterosexual and homosexual experience or response in each specific person…

Any person may be assigned a position on this scale, for each period in their life….
